Loris' Pavlova
Ingredients
- 6 eggs, separated
- 1 1/4 cups of caster sugar
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
- Whisk egg whites until soft peaks
- Gradually add sugar until meringue is thick + glossy
- Add cornflour, vinegar and vanilla, whisk until combined.
- Place Wet brown paper bag over inverted cake tin and pile meringue on top. Use spatula to spread over lid.
- Put into hot oven (200°C), turn oven down to 120c + cook steady for 1 hrs. until outer crust is hard.
